Please be aware that beginning in April, the bridge located on 41st , between Kiwanis Avenue and Louise Avenue, will be reconstructed. Detours on two routes will be established as listed below and put into operation as soon as construction begins. Construction is expected to be complete in November 2010.

Route 1

Outbound – From Kiwanis Avenue and 41st Street, the bus will proceed south on Kiwanis Avenue to 49th Street. The bus will turn west on 49th Street and continue on to Louise Avenue. At Louise Avenue, the bus will turn south and travel to the Southwest Transfer Center. The following stops will be eliminated throughout this detour period: 41st/adjacent to (east of) Big Sioux River; 41st/Westport NE corner; Louise/Empire Mall entrance driveway NW corner; Louise/Hy-Vee entrance driveway SW corner.

Inbound - No changes.

Route 3

Outbound – Beginning with the run starting at 9:05 a.m. and continuing through the run starting at 6:15 p.m., from Kiwanis Avenue and 41st Street, the bus will proceed south on Kiwanis Avenue to 49th Street. The bus will turn west on 49th Street and continue on to Louise Avenue. At Louise Avenue, the bus will turn south and travel to the Southwest Transfer Center. The following stops will be eliminated throughout this detour period: 41st/Kiwanis NE corner; 41st/adjacent to (east of)Big Sioux River; 41st/Westport NW corner; Louise/Empire Mall entrance driveway NW corner; Louise/Hy-Vee entrance driveway SW corner.

Inbound – From 49th Street and Louise Avenue, the bus will continue east on 49th Street to Kiwanis Avenue. The bus will turn north on Kiwanis Avenue and travel to 41st Street. At 41st Street, the bus will turn east and resume its regular route. The following stops will be eliminated throughout this detour period: Louise at Target entrance driveway NE corner; 41st/Westport SW corner; 41st/adjacent to (east of) Big Sioux River; 41st/Kiwanis SW corner.
